Below will be a list of several recipes which can be made using our fabulous fruit and vegetables. Please fell free to email me any recipes you have made using our produce.

Leek recipe

This is my recipe for leek and potato soup –
3 large leeks                                       salt and pepper
1 large onion                                      parsley
2 carrots                                              150ml double cream
225g to 5oog potatoes                  pinch of paprika                               
50g butter
Chicken stock – I use one Knorr stock cube and a little more water than recommended

Clean and chop leaks – removing most of the dark green parts
Peel and chop the onion, carrots and potatoes
Melt butter in a large heavy pan – add the leeks and onion and soften over a low heat
Add carrots, potatoes and stock
Gently simmer till vegetables are soft
Liquidise the soup
Add cream and reheat then the chopped parsley
Freshly ground black pepper and salt if needed
Sprinkle of paprika if you want
